Martha Greene Phillips, known as Marti to her friends, lives on a small farm in central Wisconsin, where she enjoys her horses, dogs, garden and a variety of hobbies and pastimes. With this, her first book, a writing hobby has become a new vocation.

She works in the mental health field and volunteers for nature and conservation organizations.

Weekends at her boathouse in southeast Minnesota are the perfect relaxing getaway.
